How do I buy a tree?

This year, we've made it as simple as possible for you to buy a tree from the comfort of your own home. You may purchase straight from our website or contact us at 0208 080 3225 and one of our staff members would be pleased to help you.

How can I extend the life of my tree?

Placing your tree in a water-holding stand is the easiest method to keep it fresh throughout the holiday season. These supports may be utilized for many years and keep your tree moist in the same way as a flower does. We will make a new 2-3 cm cut at the base of your tree, then set it in its water-holding stand. Once you're satisfied with the placement of your tree, fill the stand with water and make sure it's always full. This will keep the needle drops to an absolute minimum. Keep your tree away from heat sources such as radiators or fires to help it live longer.

Will I need a stand for my tree?

In brief, a stand is required to keep your tree upright. Heavy and thick trees cannot be supported by log stands. Stands are available when purchasing a tree from us or you can find them in most hardware shops.

Will I need to water my tree?

Yes! This is important - a 6ft tree can drink as much as 1.5 litres of water per day! By keeping your tree hydrated, you will ensure the tree lasts well throughout the festive period.

When should I get my tree delivered?

To ensure your tree lasts throughout the festive period, we recommend getting your tree between the last week of November and the first 1-2 weeks of December. Ensure you have a water-holding stand which will help your tree retain its needles.

When should I take my tree down?

Trees are traditionally removed by the 12th night of Christmas, which is January 5th or 6th. You may easily dispose of your tree by cutting it up and placing it in your garden trash bin, or you can phone us and schedule a collection so that we can securely recycle your tree. Pre-ordering collection is less expensive, so add it to your cart when you buy your tree!

How long will my tree last? Will it drop needles?

Your tree should last upward of a month if you ensure its in a water-holding stand, kept away from sources of heat and the water is always topped up in the stand. Naturally, you will always get a minimal amount of needle drop with any tree as this is a fresh cut natural product. As it gets less fresh, it will drop some needles with time. The Nordmann Fir tree is known for dropping the least needles as opposed to all other Christmas trees, so rest assured when buying with us that you are buying the highest quality tree on the market!

What time will my tree be delivered?

We can't specify a specific delivery time currently, but if you have any time concerns or require a rough time, feel free to give us a call on 0208 080 3225 for an update on your tree delivery and we'll be happy to help!

Can you put my tree in its stand for me?

Deliveries will be made solely to doorsteps, which means we will not be able to set your tree in position in your home, however we are able to place into its stand, ask our friendly delivery drivers to kindly help you.

Do you collect trees after Christmas?

We certainly will! You may request this service from us; all you have to do is remove your decorations from your tree and put it outside your front door (not on the pavement), preferably in your driveway if you have one; on the day of collection, one of our vans will swing by and take your tree.
